JOB DESCRIPTION

Avenue Consulting Group is looking for a Bookkeeper to join its team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
: 
- Record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process;
- Verify that transactions are recorded in the correct day book, suppliers ledger, customer ledger and general ledger;
- Bring the books to the trial balance stage;
- Perform partial checks of the posting process;
- Record accounts receivable/ payable and handle payroll in a timely manner;
- Perform other job-related duties assigned by the Supervisor.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
: 
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration;
- At least 6 months of bookkeeping experience;
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/ receivable principles;
- Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records;
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail;
- Advanced skills in using MS Office and database software; knowledge of Armenian Accounting Software;
- Proficiency in Armenian and Russian languages; proficiency in English language is a plus.
