JOB DESCRIPTION
: 
Alfa Pharm is looking for an experienced marketing, sales and procurement management specialist with strong analytical skills for the position of Category Manager to develop individual product areas of the Company, including category management, pricing policy, and sales promotion and planning. The Category Manager will also be the link between providers and the Organization. His/ her main goal will be to increase sales volumes, the profitability of the Organization, and ensure sustainable growth.
RESPONSIBILITIES
: 
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify existing product and price quotes, prepare market conditions and Company position reports;
- Develop and submit long-term strategic plans to the Management for promoting sales volumes;
- Establish trustworthy and mutually beneficial relationships with suppliers to make smart and effective pricing decisions; build a partnership with new supplier companies, negotiate and obtain the best terms for the Company from suppliers;
- Continuously improve and review procurement policies and contracts from suppliers, inline with Company's current policies; develop procurement policies and procedures for price control;
- Contribute to the pricing of products based on the Company's pricing policy and the results of the existing analysis, participate in the development of a sales pricing strategy and ensure its implementation;
- Identify the competitive advantages and disadvantages of the Organization; participate in the organization and implementation of advertising campaigns;
- Perform sales analysis within its category, research the causes of good and bad sales, prepare reports;
- Make forecasts and analyzes for individual product groups to ensure their sustainable growth;
- Analyze sales patterns, seasonality and forecast; plan future sales developments;
- Determine the correct ordering of products to ensure their best display in accordance with advertising law requirements;
- Monitor the availability, layout, and timing of products and groups; track product transfers between pharmacies;
- Develop, manage and coordinate marketing functions and strategies for product promo consulting;
- Collaborate with pharmacy staff on sales features, product placement issues, sales promotion activities;
- Participate in staff training, commodity training courses;
- Explore the possibilities of presenting a new assortment, market demand, and present it to pharmacy staff when new ones are available.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
: 
- Higher education in Economics, Business Management, Marketing or other related field;
- Work experience in marketing or sales management;
- Good knowledge of English and Russian languages, both spoken and written;
- Sales organization and promotion skills;
- Ability to quickly orient in different situations;
- Ability to perform quantitative and qualitative analyses;
- Ability to make decisions and put forward optimal solutions;
- Interpersonal communication skills;
- Excellent written and oral communication skills;
- Organizational skills in time planning and deadlines;
- Excellent knowledge of MS office;
- Ability to build, motivate, lead, and engage in team-building.
