JOB DESCRIPTION
: 
As part of GIZ's effort to be flexible, adaptable, and efficient as well as to become implementer of integrated solutions for global challenges, GIZ Armenia has established a project service unit with administrative and technical services to all projects within the GIZ Armenia portfolio. The Administrative Service Unit is responsible for project level procurement, accounting, and grant management, logistics and facility management for GIZ rented premises in Yerevan GIZ Armenia is looking for a Cleaner who will keep these office premises located on 59 Hanrapetutyan Str., Yerevan, clean, tidy and well maintained.
RESPONSIBILITIES
: 
- Clean the office premises, rooms, kitchen, WCs, terrace, furniture, carpets and windows;
- Check and refill supplies in all areas, including office supplies and articles in the washrooms and WCs;
- Set up and prepare the conference rooms as instructed;
- Supply the office with hot and cold beverages and other catering services;
- Provide services at meetings, e.g. serve coffee and tea for guests and visitors;
- Takes care of office plants;
- Report on stocks, e.g. if beverages are low and need to be replaced;
- Support the office or project with logistics, e.g. take letters to the post office or hand them to courier services;
- Make photocopies and scan documents as needed;
- Check office supplies and restock office materials, e.g. ensure that printers are
a) operational by filling with paper, toner cartridges, etc.;
b) run errands, e.g. buy coffee, household goods, food for meetings and events on request if required;
c) report damage to office areas and equipment, and organise and monitor maintenance and repair.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
: 
- Primary school education;
- A minimum of three years’ professional experience in a comparable role, with references (please provide with application);
- Basic knowledge and verbal communication skills of English language;
- German language communication skills would be an asset;
- Ability to act sensitively in handling and disposing of potentially important documents;
- Reliability and good organisational skills;
- A team player.
