The Project Manager will be responsible for the project "Working together for Gyumri Care Centre" in the AutRC Yerevan office and will be in charge for overall supervision and coordination of the project in close cooperation with ARCS project manager and project coordinator, will control and support smooth implementation of the project by supporting ARCS staff with coordination of their activities; will coordinate on financial matters between ARCS and AutRC delegation in Tbilisi and where needed in Vienna as well as ensure communication between ARCS project team and AutRC HQ. He/she will be also responsible for the preparation of the reports to the Austrian Development Agency (ADA) and Swiss Red Cross.RESPONSIBILITIES :
Objectives:- Ensure timely and high-quality implementation of project activities according to the donor contract including adequate monitoring and reporting;
- Provide ongoing support to the ARCS project team in project implementation, monitoring and reporting (including administrative tasks as well as content-wise support).
Tasks:
- Overall oversight and supervision of the project;
- Active communication with ARCS project team and AutRC HQ (regular meetings);
- Work in close collaboration with ARCS on aspects of monitoring and evaluation of the project activities in order to mutually share knowledge and experience;
- Support to the planning and implementation of the activities by ARCS project team (e.g. kick-off meeting);
- Ensure receipt of timely financial reports and coordinate with ARCS finance department and AutRC finance officer in Tbilisi including audit processes;
- Narrative reporting reflecting project progress and achievement of indicators;
- To fulfill his/her mission to the project site AutRC overall project manager will be supported by ARCS concerning infrastructure and logistics;
- Liaise with ADA delegation in Armenia.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :
- University degree, preferably in the field of Business Administration, Public Health, International Development or similar;- At least 3 years of project management experience is required;
- 2 years of experience within RC/RC environment, nationally or internationally is preferred;
- Experience in working as a project manager in the social/health sector is preferred.

The Austrian Red Cross (AutRC) is a humanitarian, independent, impartial and neutral non-profit organization, supporting people in need: locally – nationally – globally. Since 2012, the AutRC has a long-term commitment to support the Armenia Red Cross Society (ARCS) to sustainably increase their capacities and services to vulnerable people, through bilateral projects as well as regional programmes. After opening its regional representation in Yerevan in 2012 the AutRC started its cooperation with ARCS with a community-based Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) programme funded by the Austrian Development Cooperation (ADC). Ever since, the Austrian Development Agency, as well as the European Union continued to be a key donor for bilateral projects in the field of disaster risk management, health, and social services for older people as well as National Society Development.
