Background
The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Office of Transition Initiatives (OTI) awarded Dexis Consulting Group (Dexis) with the "EXploratory Pilot and Learning Options for Regional Efficiency” (EXPLORE) Europe Task Order. As a part of this Task Order, USAID/OTI established the Armenia Support Engagement, a fast-paced engagement in Armenia that supports Armenia’s democratic government and other stakeholders as the country contends with the fallout of the recent Nagorno-Karabakh crisis. The Engagement began in December 2023 and implements for a 14-month period.
Purpose
The Armenia Support Engagement seeks to address the urgent needs of displaced families in Ararat Marz following the September 2023 crisis in Nagorno-Karabakh, which forced over 115,000 ethnic Armenians to relocate. Many lack essential household items like fridges, ovens, and washing machines, vital for their well-being. To address this issue, ASE will partner with the Ararat Marz Administration to provide these items to displaced families. ASE seeks a Distribution Supervisor to assist the Marz Administration in the delivery process for these items.
Job Summary
The Distribution Supervisor will oversee the distribution of household goods such as refrigerators, ovens, and washing machines to displaced families in Ararat Marz. This role involves close cooperation and coordination with the representatives of Ararat Marz Administration and the ASE Program team to ensure efficient and effective delivery of goods. This is a short-term assignment with an estimated level of effort of 10 days.
Management of the Assignment
The Distribution Supervisor will report to the ASE Grants Manager and work in close cooperation with the ASE Program team.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Distribution Management:
- Oversee the overall distribution of household goods to displaced families in close cooperation with Ararat Marz Administration;
- Coordinate visits to various communities within Ararat Marz to distribute household items based on provided family lists;
- Support the logistic coordination of the distribution of household items to ensure timely and accurate deliveries, including liaising directly with the supplier of the household goods.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Prepare and submit goods delivered/acceptance notes between recipient families and Ararat Marz Administration for signature;
- Take photos and videos of the distribution process and submit them to the ASE Program team;
- Gather data necessary for Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning based on criteria provided by the ASE Program team;
- Prepare a final report on the distribution of goods;
- Handle other relevant tasks as requested by ASE and approved by USAID/OTI.
Illustrative Deliverables
- Signed goods delivered/acceptance notes;
- Photos/videos of the distribution process;
- Data for monitoring, evaluation, and learning;
- Final report on the overall delivery of goods;
- Perform other deliverables per ASE request.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
: 
- High School Diploma, bachelor’s degree or equivalent university degree is preferred;
- Access to a car, valid driver’s license, and ability to travel to and within Ararat Marz;
- Minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience;
- Experience supporting operations and administration for a USAID or other donor-funded program is preferred;
- Ability to prioritize and manage a high-volume workload in a fast-paced work environment;
- Creative problem-solving skills for addressing and resolving emerging needs;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other computer applications;
- Fluency in written and spoken English and Armenian.
