JOB DESCRIPTION

Finance in Motion is seeking an Investment Analyst (m/f/d). The ideal candidate enjoys tackling complex challenges in an hands-on manner and prefers a communication style that suits the flat hierarchies and cooperative mindset the Company values.
RESPONSIBILITIES
: 
- Support on- and off-site due diligence processes for debt investments in financial institutions (banks, leasing companies, microfinance institutions, etc.), including the organization of due diligences and writing of investment proposals;
- Monitor existing debt investments, based on financial reports and client visits;
- Monitor/ analyze key trends in the economic and financial sector as well as the financial sector regulation and supervision;
- Support internal and external reporting regarding investments, fund performance and economic developments in the countries of operation;
- Assist in identifying technical assistance needs of financial institutions or market participants, particularly regarding Micro/ SME finance and energy efficiency/ renewable energy finance.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
: 
- University degree, preferably in Economics, Finance or Business;
- Relevant professional experience in banking or finance, gained from an international audit firm, financial institution, central bank or a financial services company;
- Demonstrated skills in analyzing financial institutions;
- Good market knowledge of the financial sector;
- Excellent written and spoken English language skills;
- Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills, also in multicultural contexts;
- Demonstrable commitment to Finance in Motion's vision/ mission.
