JOB DESCRIPTION
: 
GIZ is looking for a Social Media Junior Advisor for the EU4Business Project "Innovative Tourism and Technology Development". The Project will be implemented within the framework of "Private Sector Development and Technical Vocational Education and Training South Caucasus" Programme committed by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
RESPONSIBILITIES
: 
The Junior Advisor for Social Media is responsible for the following:
- Develop and implement a social media concept;
- Run and manage social media communication and visibility activities in line with Communication Strategy;
- Do online media review of relevant topics regarding governmental institutions, NGOs and society.
Coordination and Monitoring
- Assist the Advisor for Communication and Visibility to transfer the social media concept to the partner institutions;
- Implement social media communication and visibility workshops and seminars;
- Disseminate the press coverage throughout partner institutions in close coordination with the communication and visibility expert ;
- Assist in coordinating general communication planning and developing social media concepts, including preparation, organisation and moderation of planning exercises and their implementation, management, monitoring, quality management, evaluation, communication and documentation (using Capacity WORKS and other relevant tools).
Networking and Cooperation
In coordination with the Advisor for Communication and Visibility
- Agree on the communication and visibility monitoring system with the partners
- Responsible for timely sharing of reports and press information with partners and beneficiaries;
- Agree on the communication strategy with the partners and beneficiaries;
- Organise workshops with partners to discuss/ amend, if necessary, the communication strategy and action plan.
Knowledge Management
- Assist in knowledge transfer to all relevant stakeholders;
- Assist in developing ready-to-use strategies and technical/ professional concepts;
- Assist in preparing and revising reports and presentation documents;
- Assist in preparing appropriate input for various project reports, including annual reports, monitoring reports, and contribute to other reports required by the team leader and GIZ Head Office.
General Obligations
- Be familiar with GIZ planning, implementation and reporting procedures and their changes;
- Be familiar with other programme components and GIZ-assisted measures, concepts and status of implementation and knows the corresponding experts and staff;
- Represent the interest of the GIZ-assisted measure and always acts on its behalf;
- Carry out important tasks for the project/ programme, even if these are not explicitly cited in the job description.
Other Duties/ Additional Tasks
- Assist other experts, if necessary, as translator;
- Perform other duties and tasks at the request of management.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
: 
- Master' s degree in an area that is related to the project objectives, with a focus on a relevant field.
Professional Experience
- At least 1 year of professional experience in a comparable position.
Other Knowledge, Additional Competences
- High self-organisational skills and sense of responsibility, accuracy, integrity and commitment;
- High communication and networking skills, teamwork abilities;
- Very good working knowledge of ITC technologies (related software, phone, email, the internet, social media ) and computer applications (e.g. MS Office);
- Fluent written and oral knowledge of English language;
- This position requires frequent travels to the northern regions;
- Willingness to continued learning and training to successfully fulfill the tasks and responsibilities as outlined herein. Relevant measures are identified and agreed upon with the team leader.
