JOB DESCRIPTION
: 
FAST is looking for a driven Senior Innovations Analyst who will contribute to the development of major growth initiatives, help frame innovation projects and assist in the full cycle of development and implementation of the programs. The successful candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and have excellent oral and written communication skills. He/ she will be able to lead and implement projects, collaborate with internal and external colleagues, and have a keen attention to detail.
RESPONSIBILITIES
: 
Research Activities:
- Conduct deep research, utilizing public and private sources of information, to collect, record, analyze, and evaluate data;
- Utilize the research data to monitor and evaluate the entrepreneurial progress;
- Produce clear and concise written studies documenting the methodology used;
- Develop project concepts and strategies, take an active role in the implementation of those projects, summarize project results;
- Prepare progress reports, dashboards, and Business Intelligence reports;
- Keep up to date with scientific and technological developments;
- Create documentation for innovation processes, standards, and governance.
Entrepreneurial and Incentivized Innovation Activities:
- Work on the exploration of novel ideas and venture hypothesis alongside entrepreneurs;
- Support the creation, implementation, and execution of the Startup incubation programs;
- Maintain and update the portfolio of early-stage startups, providing periodic reports on status, decisions, and next steps;
- Evaluate program administration and delivery processes, recommending changes, creating processes or systems as needed;
- Guide and give advice to startups through the critical early stages;
- Research and implement business solutions, marketing strategies, and strategic relationships that will take startups' business to the next level;
- Assist in investment processes by evaluating business plans, conduct screening and due diligence of startups, as well as in the creation of investment documents;
- Work with and create/ maintain a network of coaches and mentors to partake in tailored development of in-house produced ventures;
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
: 
- Master's degree, preferably in Social Sciences, Mathematics, Statistics or Computer Science; PhD is preferred;
- At least 3 years of recent experience in deep research;
- Knowledge of business and investment processes and excellent critical thinking skills;
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, reason analytically, and work effectively with people possessing differing levels of technical knowledge;
- Effective oral communication skills and proficiency in producing technical reports;
- Knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methodologies;
- Demonstrable enthusiasm for technology, emerging technology and innovation;
- A self-starter who can be relied upon to complete assigned activities on time;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, Armenian and Russian languages.
