JOB DESCRIPTION
: 
The UNDP is looking for a Task Lead Analyst, who will support the Project to coordinate risk education, victim assistance and emergency preparedness and protection components to enable the Project to move forward towards its strategic objectives.
RESPONSIBILITIES
: 
Under the overall guidance of the Democratic Governance Portfolio Analyst and direct supervision of the Project Coordinator, and in close cooperation with the partner institutions, the incumbent will be responsible for the support to project implementation in the assigned areas of responsibilities:
- Responsible for daily coordination of the Project as related to the specific outputs/ activities/ inputs in their area of responsibility as supporting the coordination of mine action sector pillars, supporting the EO Risk Education (EORE), supporting the EO Victim Assistance (VA), supporting in Conflict Preparedness and Protection (CPP);
- Provide substantive technical inputs to the annual workplan and budget, ensuring safeguarding, monitoring and facilitating quality assurance of project activities;
- Coordinate and organize EORE events, trainings, workshops and knowledge products; identify capacity development needs of stakeholders;
- In close cooperation with RE practitioners lead the process of implementation of multi-actor RE sessions in the field, consolidate the lessons learned from the interventions and prepare analytical briefs;
- Provide support in resource mobilization strategies, promote networking and experience sharing between Project stakeholders and target groups.
Provision of analysis and advice, ensuring Project visibility as related to the specific outputs/activities/inputs in the assigned area of responsibility:
- Support to establish and operate National Mine Action Platform (NMACP) and NMACP working groups (WG) (develop ToRs for NMACP WGs, support in monitoring of activities and in evaluation of results in specific Mine Action pillars);
- Lead the process of design, development and dissemination of comprehensive Risk Education (RE) related materials in EO affected regions and communities of Armenia; ensure compliance of the developed materials with international Mine Action Standards (IMAS);
- Lead the process of updating of Victim Information System (VIS) for getting comprehensive, higher quality, properly disaggregated and reliable data to improve service delivery, referrals, policy monitoring and policy formulation;
- Lead the implementation of Conflict Preparedness and Protection (CPP) initiatives, engage in analytical reviews and assessment on CPP, provide feedback and support in development of recommendations;
- Support to conduct needs assessment for affected communities, validate the priority measures with national, regional and community authorities;
- Identify and synthesize best practices and lessons learned that are directly linked to the implementation of the Project;
- Provide support in resource mobilization strategies, promote networking and experience sharing between Project stakeholders and target groups.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education:
- Master’s degree in Social Science, Public Administration, Law, Economics or other related fields;
- Bachelor’s degree in combination with 2 years of qualifying experience will be given due consideration in lieu of the Master’s degree.
Experience:
- At least 2 years (with bachelor's degree) of experience in Government and State Institutions with a focus on data analysis, research, assessments and working groups coordination.
Languages:
- Fluency in English and Armenian languages.
Required Skills:
- Proven knowledge of communication tools;
- Experience in data management and analysis;
- Experience in developing analytical reports/ documents;
- Excellent writing skills.
Desired Skills:
- A good understanding of the mine action agenda and the relevant sector in Armenia;
- Knowledge of International Mine Action standards, strategies;
- Knowledge of demining and explosives ordnance equipment.
