JOB DESCRIPTION: 

Prime Group of Companies CJSC is seeking an experienced and highly motivated professional to join its finance team as an Accountant.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

- Ensure that accounting policies comply with IFRS standards;
- Ensure the finance procedures are completed in accordance with the established policies and related governmental policies;
- Oversee the accounting department, develop financial strategies, helpcompany leadership with strategic planning;
- Register transactions. Ensure accuracy and completeness of records and its conformity to creating correct and reliable tax and finance reporting;
- Carry out an inventory of property and liabilities;
- Manage and oversee the entire accounting team;
- Detect and address potential compliance issues proactively;
- Execution of documents received by the simplified customs declaration and distribution of overhead costs on them;
- Maintain accounting controls according to policies and procedures;
- Suggest ways to increase the accounting unit efficiency and work optimization.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting/ Finance or Economics;
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience in the Financial/ Banking system;
- Knowledge of English or Russian is a must;
- Knowledge of international accounting standards (ACCA will be a plus);
- Through knowledge of Armenian Tax Law;
- Basic Knowledge of IFRS standards;
- Excellent command of Microsoft Excel;
- Ability to fulfill tasks within strict deadlines;
