JOB DESCRIPTION: 

The jobholder will act as an Accounts Payable Agent being involved in diverse challenging operational processes (invoice review/ check and payment, accounting entries processing, correspondence and document digitization, document management etc.), carry out delegated tasks within defined timeframes and regulations in compliance with the group standards and local regulatory requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

- Receive, review and process invoices/ credit notes and employee expense claims;
- Review the contents of the payment documents received and verify the proper authorizations before processing with the payment;
- Answer queries related to invoices and expenses from both internal employees and suppliers regarding payments, invoice status and technical/ process guidance;
- Prepare periodic analysis on elements of activity such as suppliers and late payment analysis;
- Perform other tasks relating to the role and provide ad-hoc support as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

- University degree in Accounting, Economics or Finance;
- Advanced knowledge of Office MS Excel;
- Good English language reading and writing skills;
- Knowledge of accounting principles, International Accounting Standards, Tax and Banking Legislation will be a plus;
- Previous work experience in the banking industry operations is a plus;
- Analytical and practical approach towards problem solving;
- Ability to work under pressure;
- Enthusiastic, full of energy, fresh ideas and fast learner.
