JOB DESCRIPTION: 

The American Citizen Services (ACS) Assistant provides both passport, citizenship, and special consular services for U.S. citizens in Post’s consular district.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

- Serve as one of the primary points of contact for U.S. citizens in the consular district and maintain a network of public and private sector contacts who may be able to assist U.S. citizens;
- Communicate directly with citizenship applicants and U.S. citizens in distress and assist in the preparation of emergency messaging and website updates;
- Work with the ACS Chief, consular officers and other Post staff on crisis preparedness and response;
- Perform administrative duties and support other consular section units as required.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

- Completion of two years of college or university studies is required;
- (FSN-08) - Full performance: Minimum two years of administrative work, case management, or customer service work experience;
- (FSN-07) - Trainee level performance: Minimum a year of administrative work, case management, or customer service work experience;
- Level IV English (Fluent) - reading, writing and speaking is required (this may be tested);
- Level IV Armenian (Fluent) - reading, writing and speaking is required (this may be tested);
