JOB DESCRIPTION: 

Acquerant AM LLC is looking for an Asterisk Developer to join its team.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

- Manage all aspects of Asterisk systems administration including performance monitoring and tuning;
- Responsible for building and configuration of Asterisk systems;
- Work with the team to integrate VoIP platform and development in the data centers;
- Maintain the VoIP-related performance metrics by responding to alarms and errors trends;
- Maintain and develop Asterisk applications and servers;
- Responsible for scripting, systems administration, VoIP load balancing, SIP signaling, etc.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

- Bachelor's degree in Telecommunication, Computer Networking or a related field, or equivalent work experience;
- At least 2 years of experience in network/ IP Telephony administration and support;
- Experience in supporting Asterisk and open source IPPBX platforms;
- Experience in using network protocol analyzers;
- Experience in capturing and reviewing packets to identify problems affecting the call quality or the call connection;
- Very strong networking background;
- Proficiency in Bash, Perl, PHP as well as SQL;
- Familiarity with VoIP;
- Strong communication and client-facing skills;
- Troubleshooting skills;
- Teamwork skills;
- Excellent multi-tasking, prioritizing, and organizational skills;
- Flexible working attitude with a "can-do" approach.
