JOB DESCRIPTION: 
CDD Middle Office Agent will play a vital role in delivering an excellent and high quality Customer Due Diligence (CDD) process by reviewing and approving Retail Banking and Wealth Management (RBWM) CDD profiles within set timelines aiming to deliver best in class service to all the Bank's customers, colleagues and the Bank itself.
RESPONSIBILITIES: 
- Conduct RBWM CDD reviews and in case of need be responsible for passing high quality profiles to RBWM Business Management for risk approval;
- Maintain on-going relationship with RBWM frontline staff and find the most efficient/ convenient solution for the Bank and the customers, e.g. during customer contact, data update, etc.;
- Arrange customer contact when required during the review process ensuring high quality service to achieve customer engagement and satisfaction at first contact where possible in accordance with the core principles of HSBC's Financial Crime Risk Appetite;
- Understand and assess financial crime risk associated with each customer during CDD review and undertake risk mitigating actions;
- Take ownership and initiative to complete necessary research and customer follow up by timely and accurate completion of the tasks;
- Achieve individual key performance indicators whilst maintaining appropriate operational risk control and compliance in all activities;
- Adhere to HSBC risk management standards and procedures;
- Contribute to business growth by identifying customer needs and potential sales opportunities and referring the customer to business units.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 
- Enthusiasm about continuously ensuring a superior customer experience;
- Ability to deliver a personalized, friendly and efficient customer service to HSBC customers and the colleagues at all times;
- Strong communication/ negotiation skills to engage in effective conversations with customers and to build strong professional rapport;
- Understanding of bank secrecy and ability to handle sensitive and confidential data;
- High level of self-organization and self-esteem;
- Ability to work independently and take responsibility for decisions and actions;
- High proficiency in spoken and written English and Armenian languages.
