JOB DESCRIPTION: 

Checchi is seeking a qualified Communications Expert to assist the Corruption Prevention Commission (CPC) with advising on their communications strategy and interactions with media. The Expert will also analyze the current capacity of the Commission and develop a vision for further development of the broader scope of communications.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

- Analyze and identify the current state of the CPC’s capacity of communications, both external (with public and state institutions) and internal (within the CPC);
- Conduct in-house research and complete initial need assessment and analyses of the Commission in the scope of its communication and media interaction capability;
- Conduct the process of allocation of existing communication resources, identify the current needs;
- Develop a vision and a broader communications action plan for the Commission (roadmap or a concept paper);
- Develop a scope of work for to-be-hired company for development of the CPC’s communication strategy (including branding, public image, etc.);
- Assist the hired company with designing and developing the CPC’s communication strategy;
- Work closely with the CPC staff to advise them on appropriate media reporting;
- Establish the CPC’s main communication channels with the public;
- Advise on possible changes or additions in social media accounts;
- Advise on the Commission’s presence in general media;
- Advise on tracking and maintaining the CPC’s public image;
- Fulfil other specific ad-hoc needs (to be discussed with the job offer).

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

- Bachelor’s or master’s (advantage) degree in PR, Journalism, Communications, or closely related fields;
- 5-7 years of proven experience in the sphere of communications and/ or public/ government relations;
- Experience with state bodies or government agencies;
- Good understanding of the current situation in Armenia;
- Good knowledge of local media environment;
- Good analytical skills;
- Good knowledge of English language.
