JOB DESCRIPTION:
Atenk Ltd. is looking for an enthusiastic candidate for the position of Construction Procurement Specialist who will develop effective communication with external and internal suppliers and manufacturers of construction materials.RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Analyze project drawings and estimated budget;- Supervise tendering procedures;
- Summarize and analyze pricing proposals;
- Arrange meetings with the construction companies and workers for correcting any project deficiencies, and negotiate with them;
- Compare and analyze estimated proposals and implementing plans;
- Research and maintain a list of construction material suppliers from internal and external market based on price, quality, payment and delivery terms;
- Compare prices/ products periodically for supplying new products at competitive prices;
- Negotiate with suppliers about contract, payment and price terms;
- Organize buying process;
- Prepare bid specifications and other necessary documents related to the purchase of materials and equipment;
- Work with the freight forwarding companies;
- Perform other job-related duties.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduate degree in Construction Science or other technical sciences;- At least 1 year of experience in procurement or logistics field; experience in construction materials procurement is an advantage;
- Good knowledge of written and spoken Armenian, English and Russian languages;
- Good knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel; knowledge of Armenian Software is an advantage;
- Good knowledge of purchasing methods and procedures;
- Good negotiation and communication skills.
