JOB DESCRIPTION: 

Evocabank is looking for a Data Scientist. The ideal candidate is a person with an eagerness to find out-of-box solutions and use innovations; strong interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to work in a team; and a high sense of responsibility.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

- Create new models for credit products and improve existing ones;
- Develop testing framework for the projects and test models quality;
- Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance in production and data drift;
- Use machine learning tools and statistical techniques to produce effective solutions to problems;
- Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data-gathering techniques;
- Coordinate with different functional teams to implement models and monitor outcomes;
- Create and present reports for business uses․

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

- University degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Quantitative Research, or other relevant fields;
- At least 1 year of professional experience as a data scientist;
- At least 1 year of professional experience in the financial and banking sector;
- Knowledge of ML and DL algorithms (Clustering, Bagging, Boosting, Multi-input NN-s, Transformers, etc.);
- Experience with analyzing and visualizing data;
- Good knowledge of Python programming language, experience working with NumPy, Scikit-learn, SciPy, Tensorflow, PyTorch or other ML libraries;
- Knowledge of credit risk models;
- Experience in SQL and relational databases;
- Background in creating scorecards will be a plus;
- Ability to prioritize and navigate in a fast-paced environment;
- Fast orientation and ability to work in a team;
- Advanced knowledge of the English language.
