JOB DESCRIPTION: 

Evocabank is looking for a Data Scientist to join its team. The ideal candidate has eagerness to find out-of-box solutions and use innovations; strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work in a team; high sense of responsibility; and excellent knowledge of Armenian and English languages.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

- Develop testing framework for the project and test model quality;
- Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy;
- Coordinate with different functional teams to implement models and monitor outcomes;
- Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques;
- Use machine learning tools and statistical techniques to produce solutions to problems;
- Create reports and presentations for business uses.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

- University degree in Mathematics, Computer Sciences, Statistics, Quantitative Research or other relevant field;
- Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts (regression, properties of distributions, statistical tests and proper usage);
- Experience working with and creating data architectures;
- Experience using statistical computer languages, ideally Python, SQL or R;
- International qualification is a strong plus;
- Solid oral and written communication skills, especially around analytical concepts and methods;
- Great work ethic and intellectual curiosity;
- Fast orientation and ability to work in a team;
- Excellent command of Armenian and English languages.
