JOB DESCRIPTION:
PicsArt is looking for a motivated Data Visualization Engineer, who will be responsible for creating state of the art dashboards to help stakeholders digest huge amounts of data. In this role, the incumbent will be crafting beautiful, scalable, world class data visualizations for the Company's employees that empower by surfacing critical insights with the most complex data sets. He/ she will be working in an environment with more than 1000 servers in 4 data centers on different continents, delivering over 95 billion monthly requests and 10Pb monthly traffic. - Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with key stakeholders;- Use own data visualization expertise and skills on a daily basis to ensure the users quickly grasping processes, strategy and insights to help drive meaningful business value from enterprise data assets;
- Gain a deep understanding of the users' behavior and challenges they face to be well informed and be sure in the daily work;
- Work with the Product and Data Science teams to determine possible visualizations that will most effectively communicate critical insights to the users;
- Create and define the best strategies and practices to build interactive visualizations for social network analysis, geographical data, timelines and ML system outputs.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least 1 year of experience in building effective and beautiful data visualization;- Demonstrated proficiency in data visualization methods and frameworks;
- Experience in developing dashboards in Tableau or other similar platforms;
- Experience with SQL databases/ scripting;
- Very strong quantitative and analytical skills;
- Experience with visualization libraries such as D3.js, chart.js, three.js, Bokeh or highcharts is a plus;
- Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and statistics is a plus;
- Experience with Python scripting, data analytics and charting libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Plotly, Bokeh) is a plus;
- Highly detail-oriented person willing to sweat the pixels;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Armenian and English languages.
