JOB DESCRIPTION: 

Teach For Armenia Educational Foundation will recruit the most committed and exceptional candidate from Armenia and the Diaspora. He/ she will be trained to become a leader and teacher and placed in an underserved school and community as Teach for Armenia Fellow. The Foundation invests heavily in supporting its Fellows during their two-year commitment so that they succeed as teachers and mentors to their students and role models in their communities. Upon successful completion of the initial Summer Institute training program, the Fellow will then be placed in a community based on his/ her educational and professional experience and according to the needs of the partner schools. The Fellow will live and work full-time as a teacher in a public school throughout his/ her two-year commitment. The Fellow will also lead Community Development Projects in his/ her local area, working with his/ her neighbors to identify the needs of the community, create business opportunities, and boost the local infrastructure.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

- Bachelor's degree;
- Fluency in Armenian language.

REMUNERATION/ SALARY: 

Fellow will receive a salary from school and financial aid from Teach for Armenia Foundation.
