JOB DESCRIPTION:
.YOUR ROLE
Are you a detail-oriented financial professional with a passion for impact-driven work? As a Finance/Grants Specialist, you will be a key member of COAF Finance Team—contributing to the management of grant funds, budgeting processes, and reporting. Your work will directly support the financial sustainability of programs that transform rural communities across Armenia.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support the management of cash flows of grants and donations, ensuring compliance with budgets and donor requirements.- Participate in the development, analysis, and revision of annual and program budgets.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and analysis in accordance with the donor organization regulations.
- Support the oversight of procurement processes to ensure compliance with the Foundation’s and donor’s requirements.
- Assist in the review and finalization of grant agreements, and support program staff in ensuring compliance with agreement requirements during grant implementation.
- Review financial reports provided by sub-grantees, and submit them to the Financial Planning and Grants Manager for approval.
- Participate in the analysis of program financial reports and support the improvement of financial management.
- Support the planning and implementation of annual and program audits.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

You will join COAF’s Finance Team and work under the direct supervision of COAF’s Financial Planning and Grants Manager.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field;
- 3-4 years of experience in financial or grants management (preferably in the nonprofit sector);
- Demonstrated experience in managing grants funded by international donors such as USAID, the U.S. Embassy, and the European Union;
- Advanced MS Excel skills;
- Working knowledge of accounting software (strongly preferred);
- Fluency in Armenian and English (written and verbal);
- Strong analytical and reporting skills;
- Attention to details.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience working with international donor organizations;
- Knowledge of procurement and audit procedures;
- Ability to manage multiple priorities;
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
