JOB DESCRIPTION:
In the framework of "Holding and Animal Identification and Registration (HAI&R) in Armenia: Preparation Strengthening of the Animal Health and Animal Breeding and Administrative Capacities" Project (funded by Austrian Development Agency) CARD foundation is planning to create preconditions for comprehensive introduction of animal registration system in Armenia. The Expert will support the elaboration and implementation of the gender component of the Project.RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Revise all possible gender issues and suggest problem solution mechanisms;- Develop a system to ensure and encourage involvement of women in the activities proposed under the Project;
- Ensure gender equality among participants of the activities proposed under the Project;
- Participate in trainings and provide information regarding environmental issues;
- Revise Project documents and development of mechanisms for data collection;
- Monitor and carry out final evaluation;
- Provide current and final reports in English and Armenian languages;
- Responsible for other supporting activities deriving from the above mentioned responsibilities and requirements of the project.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Higher education;- At least 5 years of related experience;
- Excellent time management skills;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Strong organization, planning and prioritization skills;
- Excellent command of Armenian and English languages.
