JOB DESCRIPTION: 
In the current environment Credit Services play a significant role in driving the banking business in risk balanced environment. As a strategic partner to businesses Credit Services Department has a model to enable the businesses remain profitable through the economic cycles with proper mitigation of credit facility and collateral documentation and credit processing risks through design and operations of safe processes and controls. Credit Services function consists of 1) credit operation sub-unit responsible for credit facilities and collateral maintenance and processing in banking systems, 2) credit reporting, and 3) credit documentation management team. The Head of Credit Services plays a focal role in driving and leading the credit services function with constant oversight on accurate, timely, safe and complete documentation of credit deals of all business lines, ensuring that the Bank maintains complete documentation on lending side to protect the Bank's security against all credit risk threats, as well as ensure correct processing of credit facilities within the banking systems. The jobholder must also manage prompt and correct reporting of credit facilities and collateral to Credit bureau and CBA loan register.
RESPONSIBILITIES: 
- Ensure that credit services operations adhere to the Organization's financial, risk and business strategies;
- Rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan, organize and oversee the accomplishment of set targets of the documentation, credit processing and reporting teams;
- Use extensive judgment and an intimate knowledge of related legislation to streamline the credit services operations;
- Manage the Credit Documentation and Operations teams, lead and direct the work of the function delivering high level of customer service, ensuring smooth and safe operations, demonstrating change orientation and people management capabilities;
- Drive the documentation management, system maintenance and reporting processes related to operations of credit facilities and collaterals, including planning, organizing, motivating and mentoring the team of managers and highly professional officers and specialists in the field;
- Lead the credit services operations from agreements preparation to credit operations and reporting stages with personal accountability over all processes of credit services with end-to-end ownership of all tasks and conformity to the local laws, rules, regulations and internal policies and procedures;
- Check and sign timely and accurately credit and security agreements and other related documents on behalf of the Bank in accordance with the local law and in conformity with the internal rules, regulations and delegation authorities assigned to the role;
- Deliver accurate and professional legal advice with the support of highly professional team of credit documentation managers and officers who should be engaged and empowered to drive solutions over challenging and changing legal environment;
- Make decisions on complex deals about the documents accuracy and acceptance;
- Create and develop highly motivated team with orientation in safe credit operations, coaching for success and leading the talent development within the team of credit services.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 
- Proven leadership, motivational, analytical, planning, negotiation, navigation, organizational, problem-solving, lateral thinking, managerial and project management skills to be able to handle problems in a confident and decisive manner;
- Ability to work under pressure and with tight deadlines, ability to work with ambiguity and complexity, self-starter with high energy and enthusiasm;
- High level of professional competence which helps to determine solutions around appropriate risk measures, risk processes, risk monitoring and management;
- 3-5 years prior credit operations and people management experience;
- Deep knowledge in Civil Code, Laws on state registration of rights over real estate, movable property and inventory, Law on notary operation, Law on state registration of legal entities and Bank legislation;
- Master or post-graduate degree in Law or a related field with extended experience of team driving and management;
- Demonstrated flexible approach to change, willingness to embrace change, and ability to communicate and gain commitment to change, leadership skills for constantly changing legal environment;
- Strategic thinker, creating innovative ideas; positive and balanced outlook with the ability to make decisions in complex and difficult situations;
- Ability to make robust/ tough decisions which may be contrary to the business wishes;
- Fluency in English and Armenian languages (both verbal and written);
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
