JOB DESCRIPTION: 

Varks.am is looking to recruit a highly professional, energetic and enthusiastic Head of Sales Unit who will be responsible for leading the Sales Department, overseeing activities of the junior and senior professionals and monitoring performance as a whole, defining and communicating the business's KPIs and targets. This is a data-driven role that requires commercial acumen and a deep understanding of the consumer base and competitive market, and an ability to analyze Sales Department performance.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

- Develop and implement sales initiatives to achieve corporate objectives; make analysis and forecasts;
- Propose short and long term sales targets, examine growth opportunities, enable sales improvements, and take responsibility for the Department's performance against targets;
- Act as a mentor within the Sales Department, assist in daily work;
- Develop, monitor and report sales KPIs;
- Utilize analytics tools and work with the analytics team in undertaking detailed analyses of sales performance for the purpose of reporting sales strategy successes, weaknesses and opportunities to the Management;
- Identify areas of improvement in sales strategies, through various research and analyses;
- Present reports to the Management in Armenian and English languages;
- Direct the staff, perform training, evaluate performance and give feedback to sales team;
- Coordinate liaison between Sales Department and other sales related units;
- Prepare and present periodic systematic and by request reports to the Management;
- Review and analyze sales performances to determine effectiveness;
- Display mutual respect, trust and dignity; act in the best interest of the Company;
- Control risk and manage duties and tasks in a safe and sound manner;
- Coordinate the work with all functional and structural units; assist in preparing or gathering information as requested;
- Maintain a general knowledge of all Company's products and services, as well as the activities of departments.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

- Higher education in Communications, Marketing, Business Management, Business Administration, or any other related field;
- At least 2 years of experience in successfully managing sales teams within a fast-paced and dynamic business environment;
- Professional sales training;
- Proven track record of achieving targets and driving sales growth in a business;
- Strong leadership skills and ability to inspire sales teams;
- Ability to adapt and to change in the workplace and demonstrate flexibility with new ideas and different environments;
- Excellent computer skills and knowledge of MS Office;
- Excellent knowledge of Armenian, Russian and English languages.
