JOB DESCRIPTION:
LanguageOn is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated IELTS Tutor to join its team. As an IELTS Tutor, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive and engaging instruction to students preparing for the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) examination. Your expertise and guidance will play a crucial role in helping our students achieve their desired band scores and improve their English language skills. The Language center is located in the city center.RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and deliver effective IELTS lessons, incorporating a variety of teaching methods and materials to suit different learning styles;- Assess students' current English language proficiency and identify areas for improvement;
- Design individualized study plans based on students' strengths, weaknesses, and target band scores;
- Provide in-depth instruction and practice in all four sections of the IELTS exam: Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking;
- Offer guidance on effective exam strategies and time management techniques;
- Conduct regular mock exams to familiarize students with the IELTS format and assess their progress;
- Provide constructive feedback and detailed evaluation of students' performance, highlighting areas of improvement;
- Monitor students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly to ensure continuous improvement;
- Stay up-to-date with the latest IELTS exam trends, changes, and teaching methodologies;
- Maintain accurate records of students' attendance, performance, and learning outcomes.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in English, Linguistics, Education, or a related field (Master's degree preferred);- Strong command of the English language, both written and spoken;
- Excellent knowledge of the IELTS exam structure, scoring criteria, and assessment methods;
- Previous experience teaching IELTS preparation courses and proven track record of helping students achieve their target scores;
- Familiarity with a wide range of IELTS preparation materials and resources;
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students from diverse cultural backgrounds;
- Patience, adaptability, and the ability to motivate and inspire students;
- organizational skills and attention to detail;
- Flexibility to work during evenings and weekends, accommodating students' schedules.
