DETAIL DESCRIPTION: 

The TOEFL Internet-based test (TOEFL iBT) is accepted as a proof of English proficiency in 9,000 colleges, universities and organizations and other TOEFL participating institutes across 130 countries in the world. TOEFL iBT emphasizes integrated skills and provides better information to institutions about students' ability to communicate in an academic setting and their willingness for academic coursework. The TOEFL iBT tests all four language skills that are important for effective communication: speaking, listening, reading, and essay writing.
The TOEFL Institutional Testing Program (TOEFL ITP) tests are administered by institutions and used for specific purposes including placement, monitoring progress and more. TOEFL ITP are paper-based tests that measure listening comprehension, structure and written expression, and reading comprehension.
The courses offered by Career Center focus on skills and test-taking strategies for all sections of the tests, including both the independent and the integrated tasks. Strategies include reading and listening for main ideas, facts, and inference as well as note-taking, planning, organizing, and delivering spoken and written responses.
Both TOEFL iBT and TOEFL ITP classes are organized 3 times a week for 1,5 hour (group sessions) and 1,5 hour (individual sessions). It takes at least 3 months to complete the TOEFL iBT or TOEFL ITP preparation course.

REQUIREMENTS: 

Intermediate to advanced level of English language proficiency.

APPLICATION PROCEDURES: 

To enroll in our Intensive TOEFL iBT or TOEFL ITP Preparation Courses you should visit Career Center office and register (on Mondays - Fridays, from 9:00 - 17:30). Students pay membership fee of 56,000 AMD for either individual (12 lessons) or group courses (18 lessons) of their choice. Please note that the complete fee should be paid at the time of starting the classes.
Registered students will pass a written test accompanied with an oral interview to identify their level of English language knowledge.

INTENDED AUDIENCE: 

Students who are planning to apply to higher educational institutions that require TOEFL test score for admission, scholarship candidates, English-language learners who want to track their progress, students and workers applying for visas.

ADDITIONAL NOTES: 

When visiting our office for registration, please plan to spend about 30 minutes to take the language proficiency test. Also please note that "TOEFL iBT" and "TOEFL ITP" preparation courses are designed for mastering the test-taking techniques, but not studying the language.

COURSES
- City central location;
- Adequately furnished classrooms;
- Specially designed ergonomic desks/ chairs;
- 4-6 (max) people in a group ensuring efficiency of the courses;
- Only highly qualified and certified language instructors selected by Career Center will teach interested individuals with the latest methods using the most decent study materials for each particular course;
- Our classes are conducted in English language only;
- Classes will take place in Career Center office;
- Classes are from 09:00 till 22:00, Monday-Saturdays. The attendance hours are assigned to each group according to their designated time schedule.
