JOB DESCRIPTION: 

The Intern will support all departments of the GIZ Armenia Office with a variety of tasks, including updating documents, organizing internal events, and assisting the HR department, particularly with filing and administration. The intern will have the opportunity to learn about various activities of the organisation.

In your role as intern, you will support with a wide range of duties, organising events, planning of travel, support in administration, and will have the opportunity to learn about a variety of activities and projects in our company.
This includes but may not be limited to the following:

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

- Assist with updating database and contact lists;
- Support in ensuring efficient flow and dissemination of information;
- Support the HR processes (assist with printing, scanning, encrypting and filing of documents);
- Assist in organising the selection process (e.g. interviews, written tests);
- Assist with notification of unsuccessful applicants;
- Assist in identifying and updating office needs;
- Draft presentations and minutes for various meetings and events;
- Proof-read and occasionally translate short documents;
- Perform other duties and tasks when requested

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

- Student of at least 3rd year of studies for a university degree in a relevant subject;
- Excellent analytical, communication, problem-solving, teamwork and administrative skills;
- Have and/or further invest in acquiring knowledge of collaborative and agile methods as well as upskill and strive to learn and contribute to the team’s and organisation’s success;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills both in English and Armenian;
- Knowledge of German is an asset;
- Good working knowledge of ITC technologies (related software, phone, e-mail and internet) and computer applications, such as MS Office (in particular Word and Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams);
- Familiarity with Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign would be an asset;
- Experience and ability in working with digital media.
