JOB DESCRIPTION: 

As part of Planning/ Design and Development team, the IoT Cybersecurity Engineer will be playing a critical role in ensuring end-to-end security by-design, for the eSIM and DNS based IoT security platform and related solution development initiatives. He/ she will be priming and driving end-to-end security aspects by ensuring IoT root and chain of trust concept are implemented at all stages, from planning and design to implementation and deployment as well as operational life cycle management stage (i.e. IoT security from cradle to grave). RESPONSIBILITIES: 

- Act as a point of contact resource for IoT security for software/ platform/ project development teams, including matters related to data privacy, devices, cloud, API, and application security;
- Drive and promote the implementation of standard security architecture conventions to ensure the availability, performance, scalability and security;
- Participate in solution assessments. This may involve testing inclusive of ethical hacking in a non-prod environment;
- Contribute to driving security and privacy into the development process and the execution of security operations inclusive of threat modelling, monitoring and incident response;
- Keep up with the latest security threats, attack vectors, cloud computing technologies, and associated security controls to ensure the security ecosystem is well-architected to address key risks;
- Participate in technology and security architecture reviews and serve as a trusted advisor to platform/ software development teams on architecture and control design.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

- At least 5 years of proven working experience within Cyber Security, Cloud Security, DevOps and/ or Embedded IoT Security;
- Strong technical background within cybersecurity, embedded security, cloud security (AWS or Azure), Kubernetes and/ or Docker, and enterprise security solutions;
- Excellent knowledge, expertise and experience in existing security solutions (and related systems engineering concepts) such as Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), Key Management (KM), Key Root Management (KRM) and Virtual Private Networks (VPN), as well as emerging technologies such as eSIM-based IoT SAFE and DNS/ DNSSEC/ DANE/ DANISH for IoT Device Identity Management (IoT Device IdM), Privilege and Access Management, Digital Policy Management, Crypto Key Management, Credential Management and Attribute Management;
- Knowledge and understanding of the vulnerabilities and risks involved within the IoT space;
- Strong understanding of network architecture, design, security, and protocol;
- Strong experience with Penetration testing, ideally with embedded systems;
- Strong understanding of Cyber Security Thread Modelling, and Secure Software Development Lifecycle;
- Experience with security frameworks (NIST CSF, CIS, etc);
- Ability to communicate clearly with stakeholders;
- CISSP, CISM certification or equivalent.
