JOB DESCRIPTION: 

Timeless LLC is looking for a highly responsible and experienced IT Security Officer, who can have a great contribution in the Company's growing team by his/ her enthusiastic and creative work.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

- Create a strategic plan for the deployment of information security technologies and program enhancements;
- Integrate IT systems development with security policies and information protection strategies;
- Audit existing systems and provide comprehensive risk assessments;
- Monitor computer networks for security issues;
- Investigate security breaches and other cyber security incidents;
- Install security measures and operate software to protect systems and information infrastructure, including firewalls and data encryption programs;
- Document security breaches and assess the damage they cause;
- Fix detected vulnerabilities to maintain a high-security standard;
- Develop company-wide best practices for IT security;
- Perform penetration testing;
- Help colleagues install security software and understand information security management;
- Research security enhancements and make recommendations to the management;
- Stay current on information/ cyber security trends and news;
- Stay up to date with information technology trends and security standards;
- Prepare financial forecasts for security operations and proper maintenance cover for security assets;
- Spearhead education programs focused on user awareness and security compliance;
- Responsible for policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines development and implementation.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field;
- Experience in information security or a related field;
- Experience with computer network penetration testing and techniques;
- Understanding of firewalls, proxies, SIEM, antivirus, DLP and IDS/ IPS concepts;
- Ability to identify and mitigate network vulnerabilities and explain how to avoid them;
- Understanding of patch management with the ability to deploy patches in a timely manner while understanding business impact;
- Logic and objectivity;
- Attention to detail, analytical thinking skills and ability to recognize trends in data;
- Communication skills, ability to interact effectively with a range of people;
- Proactive approach with the confidence to make decisions;
- Methodical and well-organized approach to work;
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines;
- Understanding of confidentiality issues, and the law relating to them.
