Junior QA Specialist, Innovation and Digital Department

JOB DESCRIPTION: 

Ameriabank is looking for a Junior QA Specialist. The incumbent will be responsible for the manual and automated testing of AS Bank system, creation and maintenance of UI functional and Performance manual and automated tests as well as finding and reporting bugs. He/ she will work with the scrum team and will be responsible for the quality of the product under the test.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

- Review and analyze requirements and specifications of projects;
- Design and update testing documentation (test plans and test cases);
- Collecting test cases for AS-Bank system;
- Manually test the newly developed software, features and record any bugs or performance issues;
- Collaborate with developers and administrators teams to provide input into test planning;
- Work closely with technical and non-technical people across various product development teams to advance automated testing coverage;
- Show initiative and play an active role in suggesting improvements for the product.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field;
- Analytical skills and critical thinking;
- Understanding of AS-Bank application usage in different departments;
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal;
- Good level of English language, both verbal and written;
- Understanding of different testing types and their applicability in different environments and situations;
- Knowledge of SQL and relational databases is a big plus;
- Experience with modern web-based tools (Jira, Confluence, TestRail, etc.) is a plus;
- Knowledge of automation testing approaches is a plus.
