JOB DESCRIPTION: 

Those who tell the stories rule the world. The reality COAF tackles through its journey is often complex, so COAF is looking for its very own Marketing Copywriter whose stories will give it form. The ideal candidate is eager beaver ready to step into the breach and connect COAF to the entire world. As a Marketing Copywriter, he/ she will be joining the COAF Communications team.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

- Create compelling and thoughtful copy to bring COAF's mission to life for a variety of audiences and channels;
- Be fully responsible for coaf.org website content and narrative making it a powerful and engaging source of information for the COAF community and potential supporters;
- Own the voice and tone for COAF, managing the Organization's social media profiles and presence, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Vimeo, Pinterest and additional channels that may be deemed relevant;
- Write and edit copy for marketing campaigns, emails, projects, and web pages that inspires the reader;
- Write press releases and prepare information for the media, create announcements;
- Develop creative headlines, messages for digital and printing visuals/ posters/ banners, captions, ads;
- Create impactful blog articles in English and Armenian languages;
- Create scripts and subtitles for videos, as well as script podcasts and coordinate their production;
- Create high-quality and creative visuals closely collaborating with the photographer, videographer and graphic designer;
- Create different marketing communication materials (brochures, booklets, banners, posters, newsletters, etc.);
- Draft speeches and arrange interviews for the management.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

- Higher education in Communications, PR, Marketing or any other relevant field;
- At least 3 years of experience in writing and editing copy for a strong brand;
- Excellent knowledge of Armenian and English languages (close to native/ bilingual); knowledge of any other language will be an advantage;
- Excellent skills in written and oral communication, story-telling;
- Detail-oriented, strong editing and proofreading skills;
- Creative mindset and out of box thinking;
- Good team player;
- Digital marketing skills;
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines;
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and meet daily deadlines;
- Comfortable with working in a fast-paced, open office environment;
- Willingness to periodically travel to rural communities of Armenia.
