JOB DESCRIPTION: 

The Central Bank of Armenia seeks to find a passionate, talented and qualified Methodologist to join the Consumer Rights Protection and Financial Education Center team.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

- Elaborate draft laws and legal acts on the development of consumer rights protection and market conduct;
- Elaborate and improve the code of conduct of financial institutions, as well as various manuals on supervision of market conduct;
- Study consumer behavior, identify risks and propose activities aimed at minimizing the risks;
- Study best regulatory practice on consumer rights protection and market conduct, submit proposals for improvement.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

- University degree in Economics;
- At least 2 years of work experience in a relevant field;
- Profound knowledge of Consumer Rights Protection and Market Conduct;
- Profound knowledge of Financial System Legislation and Normative field;
- Intermediate knowledge of Civil Legislation related to Financial activities;
- Intermediate knowledge of Banking;
- Intermediate knowledge of Finance;
- Intermediate knowledge of Insurance;
- Intermediate knowledge of Securities Market;
- Intermediate knowledge of Macroeconomics;
- Basic knowledge of Microeconomics;
- Basic knowledge of Accounting;
- Fluency in Armenian language; good knowledge of Russian and English languages;
- Computer skills (MS Office, databases);
- Creative thinking;
- Cooperation skills;
- Negotiation skills;
- Ability to take initiative.
