RESPONSIBILITIES: 

- Efficiently execute payment operations and always provide support to business lines and functions;
- Coordinate internal departments and Branch communication with payments and ensure accuracy and integrity of relationships;
- Negotiate with partners both Bank and HSBC Group wide within frames of various projects, new solution implementation, having exposure to increase standards in all services the Department provides.
- Adhere to SLAs in daily operations ensuring timely and errorless execution of customer instructions;
- Have basic involvement and assistance in other tasks of the Department;
- Maintain sound relationships with global businesses and functions providing adequate professional support;
- Provide high quality regulatory report in an accurate manner, reflecting business state and flow. Adhere to the letter and spirit of local and regional legislation and internal policies and procedures;
- Provide prompt assistance and support to teammates and Department's superior team;
- Contribute to the extent possible to the Department teamwork, create positive and inspiring atmosphere, supporting team environment;
- Timely complete mandatory trainings and reading assignments, maintaining awareness and knowledge of all related banking fields, regulations, policies, systems and controls;
- Create and update descriptive manuals for new/ existing processes and provide adequate training and guidance to new/ learning colleagues. Rotate among different functions within the Department upon necessity maintaining high quality and speed of operations;
- Drive up employee engagement demonstrating high standards of HSBC values, developing and supporting team environment both in daily operational and other circumstances;
- Continuously seek process improvement and automation, to boost efficiency, prevent manual processing where possible and lead to quality enhancement of operations.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

- University degree in Banking, Finance, Economics or a related field;
- Experience in the banking sphere will be an asset;
- Knowledge of local regulatory normative acts from payment perspectives for regulatory reporting purposes;
- Time management skills, ability to multitask and handle load;
- Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines and time constraints;
- Adherence to internal and external deadlines;
- High speed of processing and touch typing is desirable;
- Team orientation, excellent communication skills;
- Willingness to learn;
- Detail orientation;
- Strategic thinking;
- Fluency in English and Armenian languages;
- Profound knowledge of Microsoft Office suite;
- Previous similar work experience will be of benefit.
