JOB DESCRIPTION: 

Democracy International (DI) is seeking to hire a consultant to conduct a private sector landscape analysis for the Protection, Empowerment, and Inclusion activity (PIE) in Armenia (the “Project”), which is funded by USAID. The private sector landscape analyst – hereinafter the Consultant – will be expected to work closely with the Armenia-based PIE team to conduct a landscape analysis of private-sector companies with philanthropic or CSR programs and companies who may have limited experience in charity but whose missions or products aligned with PIE's objectives and a focus on social protection service delivery.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

- Advanced degree in Business Administration, Social Sciences, Public Policy, or a related field;
- At least 5-7 years of experience in corporate social responsibility (CSR), philanthropy, and/or social protection sectors;
- Proven ability to conduct qualitative and quantitative research, including interviews, focus groups, and surveys;
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data and develop strategic recommendations;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely;
- Experience in engaging with private-sector companies and understanding their CSR activities and motivations;
- Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with diverse stakeholders and facilitate discussions;
- Familiarity with the social protection landscape and private-sector environment in Armenia is highly desirable;
- Fluency in Armenian and working proficiency in English is required.
