JOB DESCRIPTION:
PicsArt team needs a great QA Engineer to develop and execute exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality.RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Act in a direct role to execute manual and automated quality assurance tests;- Strategize and work with developers to enable end to end testing in a continuous integration environment;
- Identify, communicate and mitigate risks within each application release.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Higher education in the relevant field;- At least 3 years of experience working in a QA role, ideally working within mobile app environment;
- Real enthusiasm and knowledge for latest developments of mobile platforms and technologies;
- High level of quality assurance expertise working with industry standards tool;
- Natural curiosity for new scripting languages, frameworks and technologies;
- Good knowledge of Java; knowledge of other programming languages is a plus (e.g. Javascript, Python, Ruby, etc.);
- Ability to work with development or test automation tools/ frameworks (e.g. Appium, Espresso, Selenium, Cucumber/ Gherkin, Robotium, etc.);
- High attention to detail for finding/ reporting bugs;
- Experience in Jira and Zephyr is highly preferred;
- Collaborative decision-making skills and good judgment;
- Ability to operate comfortably in a multi-task/ multi priority environment across a global team;
- Ability to work with a sense of urgency and attention to detail;
- Strong knowledge of written and spoken English language;
- Experience in creating effective test cases;
- Ability to work/ communicate with different disciplines (tech as well as non-tech).
