JOB DESCRIPTION: 

Yerevan Haybusak University seeks a dedicated and detail-oriented Secondary Professional Education (VET) Quality Assurance Officer to join its development and quality assurance team. The successful candidate will contribute to ensuring the quality and effectiveness of academic programs and services and the standards of academic excellence.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

- Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures;
- Conduct regular surveys and assessments of study programs and education services, identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for enhancements;
- Collaborate with faculty, staff, and students to address quality concerns and ensure compliance with university policies and standards and facilitate continuous improvement initiatives;
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of quality improvement initiatives;
- Conduct research and stay up-to-date on best practices and trends in quality assurance in higher education;
- Provide training on quality assurance and support to faculty, staff, and students;
- Prepare detailed reports on quality assurance activities and present findings to the university community.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

- Bachelor's degree in sociology or a related field (e.g., pedagagy, business administration);
- Excellent knowledge of English;
- Drive to study and analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Strong project management and organizational skills;
- Understanding of accreditation processes, quality assurance frameworks and standards (e.g., ESG, ISO 9001);
- Proficiency in data analysis software and Microsoft Office Suite.
