JOB DESCRIPTION: 

Equiti AM is looking for a Senior FX (Foreign Exchange) Dealer Associate. The incumbent will report directly to the Firm's Chief Executive Officer and will play a key role in fulfilling and executing individual trade requests as well as initiating, maintaining, and cultivating professional relationships with outside investment brokers. He/ she will engage in financial market transactions and evaluate investment opportunities in currencies, buying and selling different currencies from around the world at a profit. To keep up with constant fluctuations in the market, dealers continuously analyze a wide array of statistics, seeking advantageous trends. The Senior FX Dealer Associate monitors and assesses the market to identify profit-making opportunities and helps to execute foreign exchange transactions. The role requires a specialist, who is analytical and able to respond quickly to foreign exchange market conditions.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

- Analyze key industry challenges facing global financial markets and potential scenarios shaping the future landscape of the financial markets industry;
- Assess operational risks assumed by or arising from financial market activities, and determine if mitigating actions need to be taken to limit financial and reputational losses;
- Explain developments in trading technology, platforms and algorithms, which enhance the effectiveness of trade execution, and recommend improvements for trading technology solutions;
- Monitor and assess foreign exchange markets to spot trading opportunities and formulate trading strategies;
- Monitor daily profit and loss and positions in the trading book, and formulate hedging strategies to manage associated financial risks;
- Maintain order book and effectively manage position risk;
- Closely monitor competitor's activity on a daily basis and provide market-leading remittance rates;
- Assist in monitoring the foreign exchange position of the Company, ensuring that no unauthorized currency positions arise and that the Company's policies are followed;
- Analyze and advise on information concerning foreign exchange market trends;
- Ensure that cash is positioned to maximize liquidity and meet operational business requirements;
- Quot and execute Company FX related orders;
- Build, pre-trade analysis, execution, post-trade analysis, allocations and settlement across multiple strategies and brokers;
- Ensure all trading activities are in compliance with the Company's best execution policies; perform trade execution data analysis, including execution measurement, performance tracking and accountability;
- Work on firm-wide special projects related to operational efficiencies and process improvements;
- Provide high quality, accurate reporting.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

- At least 2 years of prior investment industry experience; prior FX experience is a plus;
- Bachelor's degree in Finance and/ or Security Market;
- Demonstrable strong interest and enthusiasm for financial markets, international affairs and geopolitical events;
- Fluency in written Russian language;
- Fluency in written and oral English language;
- Talkative and persuasive person;
- Ability to understand and explain risk;
- Ability to work independently under tight deadlines and effectively manage multiple tasks;
- Excellent communication and organizational skills;
- Ability to think quickly and solve problems in real-time;
- Technical knowledge and experience in the financial markets;
- Excellent analytical skills and accuracy with great attention to detail;
- Flexibility in working hours;
- Excellent interpersonal skills and willingness to work in collaboration with members of the team;
- Willingness to pass qualification exam during reasonable time of period, if such required by regulatory body.
