Digital Edge is seeking a Senior Network Engineer with good English language knowledge to join its network team.RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide technical support to Company clients; perform complex problem-solving tasks, determine and resolve system issues ranging from network and security to operating system and platform configuration;- Support Company WAN/ LAN infrastructure, including Cisco routers/ Switches, BGP and HSRP;
- Support Cloud Firewalls, physical switching, virtual switching;
- Perform network security design and integration through proper configuration of VPN and Firewalls;
- Assist in the development of guidelines and procedures for administration and security best practices;
- Maintain all network documentation;
- Perform regular security monitoring to identify possible intrusions;
- Monitor network usage, anticipate potential problems and suggest solutions;
- Maintain proper backups for all network systems and devices;
- Manage network-related projects and maintenance tasks in the Company's ticketing system;
- Participate in 24x7x365 on-call schedule.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least 3 years of relevant job experience;- Availability of Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Routing and Switching, Security or Datacenter, or Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP) or equivalent certification from other vendors;
- Intermediate to expert understanding of firewall configuration and maintenance;
- Hands-on technical experience working with VPN technologies (IPSEC, SSL VPN, WebVPN, AnyConnect, etc.);
- Understanding and implementation of network traffic analysis;
- Knowledge of VoIP implementation and support;
- Experience in working as a member of 24x7x365 network or system operations team;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English language; ability to communicate in an understandable, polite and friendly manner;
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
