JOB DESCRIPTION: 

Netris is looking for a Senior Software Engineer (React/ Frontend) to help build its automatic NetOps software that empowers the next generation of mission-critical networks for private cloud, edge, and local Kubernetes deployments. It is an exciting role for an engineer to join and develop the core components for modern Kubernetes and cloud networking products in a rapidly growing Silicon Valley startup. The incumbent will work with network architects, network scientists, and product leadership to develop a rock-solid production-grade product that the customers will soon deploy around the globe in their mission-critical data centers. He/ she will be expected to iterate rapidly while delivering high-quality output.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

- Develop the latest user-facing features using React.js;
- Design a modern, highly responsive web-based user interface;
- Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use;
- Work with canvas;
- Optimize components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers;
- Collaborate with back-end and API developers to enhance the user experience;
- Work closely with the product team to understand use cases and user needs;
- Write tests for new and existing features to improve overall test coverage;
- Responsible for code review, requirements.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

- At least 5 years of experience as a Frontend Developer;
- Solid knowledge of JavaScript;
- Extensive experience developing complex web applications with React.js; TypeScript knowledge is a plus;
- Good skills in CSS and familiarity with preprocessors;
- Willingness to practice modern software development techniques such as continuous integration and distributed version control;
- Proficiency in writing unit tests;
- Good skills in writing interactive canvas applications;
- Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools like Webpack, Babel, NPM;
- Familiarity with Material-UI;
- Familiarity with writing E2E tests with Cypress is a plus, but not mandatory.
