Full-timeJOB DESCRIPTION:
Central Bank of Armenia is currently looking for a Supervisor to join the Financial Supervision Department team.RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Elaborate and submit for approval work plans for banking supervision in compliance with the CBA strategy;- Prepare periodic bank risk assessment reports, develop bank risk matrices incorporating all material risks and significant activities, analyze other information submitted by the banks;
- Participate in and/ or lead on-site examinations of banks and other financial institutions, if necessary;
- Provide recommendations to resolve existing problems and mitigate risks in banks;
- Record violations of laws and other legal acts, take corrective actions;
- Contribute to the design and improvement of the financial system policies and regulatory framework.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- University degree in Economics;- 4 years of work experience in the financial field;
- Knowledge of Banking;
- Knowledge of Economics;
- Knowledge of Financial Analysis and Risk Management;
- Knowledge of Accounting;
- Knowledge of Banking legislation;
- Knowledge of Tax/ Civil Codes related to banking activities.
Other Skills:
- Fluency in Armenian, English and Russian languages;
- Analytical skills;
- Negotiation skills;
- Communication skills.
