JOB DESCRIPTION:
Smart Start invites active, energetic, and creative specialists to apply for the Teacher’s position. The Teacher will co-teach with a Teaching Assistant/ Co-teacher.RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Follow the Smart Start curriculum;- Organize learning materials and resources needed for an effective educational environment;
- Use a variety of activities and instructional methods (songs, stories, media, structured games, art, outdoor activities, etc.) to motivate and stimulate children’s abilities;
- Assess children’s performance and progress to ensure they are mastering the skills on a regular basis according to the Smart Start assessment plan;
- Monitor children’s interactions and nurture cooperation and sharing.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Higher education in Pedagogy or Education, or at least 3 years of teaching experience;- Interest in teaching English to 2-6 y.o. children;
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English language;
- Eagerness to learn, strive for self-development, and improve skills;
- Team player;
- Patience and flexibility;
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
