JOB DESCRIPTION:
PicsArt is looking for a curious and deep diving WordPress Developer to join its team. As a WordPress Developer at PicsArt, he/ she will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development. The incumbent is expected to have a general understanding of the latest industry trends and content management systems.RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop new user-facing features;- Build reusable code and libraries for future use;
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/ UX designs;
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability;
- Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end services;
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent technical degree;- Satisfactory experience with WordPress;
- Strong HTML and CSS coding skills with experience in responsive websites (LESS or SASS);
- Good understanding of browser rendering behavior and performance;
- Familiarity with front-end build tools, such as Gulp;
- Comfortable working with PHP and MySQL;
- At least 2 years of experience with JavaScript and related technologies (Node.js, jQuery, Express JS);
- Experience working with RESTful web services;
- Good understanding of Git, and Atlassian developer tools;
- Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Redis is a plus.
