JOB DESCRIPTION:
Caucasus Research Resource Center-Armenia Foundation (CRRC-Armenia) is seeking a skilled and reliable WordPress Developer to provide ongoing website maintenance and support. The foundation is dedicated to advancing social science research and promoting research-driven policy-making in Armenia and the broader Caucasus region. To continue its mission effectively, CRRC-Armenia requires a developer who can ensure CRRC-Armenia's website remains functional, secure, and up-to-date.RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Regular updates and maintenance of the WordPress platform and installed plugins;- Troubleshoot and resolve website issues as they arise;
- Implement new features and improvements based on organizational needs;
- Ensure the website’s security, including regular backups and protection against threats;
- Monitor website performance and optimize loading speeds;
- Provide technical support and advice to the Foundation's team as needed.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven experience in WordPress development and maintenance;- Strong understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and back-end development (PHP, MySQL);
- Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility;
- Familiarity with SEO best practices;
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively;
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail;
- Excellent communication skills.
