ԱՇԽԱՏԱՆՔԻ ՆԿԱՐԱԳԻՐ՝ 

Simonian Education Foundation is looking for a translator to provide translation services for the School 42 content. 42 is a tuition free software engineering school with a revolutionary way of learning without teachers. The curriculum is 100% project based and students have to work in peer-to-peer fashion and review each other's projects. The students will be 18+ and have no knowledge of coding when they start the curriculum. The translators will be asked to translate the curriculum from English to Armenian language.

ՊԱՐՏԱԿԱՆՈւԹՅՈւՆՆԵՐ՝ 

Volume
- Stage 1: 20 projects and review instructions - 23,000 words - repetitive text is excluded;
- Stage 2: 25 projects and review instructions - 31,000 words - repetitive text is excluded.

Deliverables
- Translated text file for sample (during selection phase);
- Translated .tex files and compiled PDF files (in Armenian language);
- Translated .yml files (in Armenian language).

ԱՆՀՐԱԺԵՇՏ ՈՐԱԿԱՎՈՐՈՒՄՆԵՐ՝ 

- Science/ Engineering background (Computer Science/ Math /Physics);
- Proficiency with editing LaTex files;
- Ability to error-check and compile LaTex files;
- Proficiency with editing .yml files;
- Previous experience in translation of IT/ computer science related materials;
- Proficiency in English and Armenian languages; knowledge of French language is an advantage (in certain instances there might be a need to refer to the very original text which is in French language).

- Selection of the translators: 13 March 2020

Content Translation Deadlines
- 01 May 2020 for Stage 1
- 01 August 2020 for Stage 2

Content Revision Deadlines
- 15 May 2020 for Stage 1
- 15 August 2020 for Stage 2

Selection Criteria
- Translation fee;
- Text comprehension;
- Quality of writing;
- Academic qualifications;
- Work experience;
- Specialization;
- Availability for the duration of the project.

The position is open for individuals that are:
- In good financial standing;
