UWC Dilijan College intends to hire a Chief Accountant who will be responsible for tax accounting, processing of transactions and internal reporting. The Chief Accountant will report to the Business and Administration Manager.ՊԱՐՏԱԿԱՆՈւԹՅՈւՆՆԵՐ՝
- Prepare monthly payroll for the staff;- Handle all tax related issues, including calculation and transfer of the staff and contractors' income tax and other liabilities deriving from the College activities. Prepare monthly, quarterly and other reports to local tax authorities in accordance with the Armenian regulations;
- Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information;
- Keep record of entry and exit transactions for the warehouse, fixed assets, accumulation of depreciation, revaluation and write-off, small value items and consumables;
- Handle disbursement and clearance of advance payments, review all invoices submitted by suppliers for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment;
- Perform acceptance of proceeds and costs;
- Manage the College bank accounts;
- Assist in budget monitoring and implementation of College's financial policies and procedures;
- Always be aware of changes in tax legislation and report to the Head of College and Business and Administration Manager when such changes take place. If need be, advise on changes in College procedures to comply with local tax regulations;
- Support budget and forecasting activities;
- Maintain complete confidentiality of all matters relating to the college's finances and payroll at all times, which condition shall extend beyond the life of any contract or employment;
- Report to donors and partner organizations;
- Keep budget tracks and provide reporting to budget holders.
ԱՆՀՐԱԺԵՇՏ ՈՐԱԿԱՎՈՐՈՒՄՆԵՐ՝
- Degree in Finance or Accounting;- At least 5 years of experience in senior accounting positions, preferably in an international setting;
- Strong knowledge of the Armenian tax and customs legislation and accounting standards;
- Proficiency in English, Russian and Armenian languages;
- Knowledge of 1C 8.2 software;
- ACCA, CFA qualifications will be an advantage;
- Work experience in educational organizations will be an advantage.
