ՄԱՆՐԱՄԱՍՆ ՆԿԱՐԱԳՐՈւԹՅՈւՆ՝ 

In order to secure sustainability of the interventions and provide further support to LED systems and frameworks, the Programme has planned and agreed with MTAD 3 major activities in the LED sector; forming the basis for this assignment:
- Further capacity-building of the LED Core Group to coordinate and support municipal LED officers, build-up of their strategy development capabilities and skills;
- Review of the Concept for Economic Growth Poles, analysis of its application in selected Armenian territories and introduction of the concept to new enlarged municipalities;
- Training and support to new enlarged municipalities in the development of their Local Economic Development Vision, including their roles and interventions and cooperation frameworks to promote sustainable local development and dialogue.
In further details, this assignment aims primarily at instituting cooperation framework and justified participatory identification of comparative advantages and development prospects of the localities, and helps identify roles of various settlements in economic development with particular effect on the role of various local jurisdictions (towns and villages) in regional development. The incumbents are expected to design, in cooperation and active participation of local stakeholders (local administrations, councils, private entities, entrepreneurs, business support units, etc.), development strategies for the partner municipalities. All candidates interested in performing this work, are welcome to submit a bid to the Reception of the GIZ Country Office at 4/1 Baghramyan str., Yerevan, in accordance with the GIZ bidding conditions. The bid, comprising the technical offer and the price offer in English, must be clearly marked as such and submitted as a package containing two envelopes.
