Service Contract

ԱՇԽԱՏԱՆՔԻ ՆԿԱՐԱԳԻՐ՝ 

MSF is looking for highly qualified designers with experience in designing print and online publications to provide design services for MSF’s production of reports, leaflets, calendars, and other written materials.

ՊԱՐՏԱԿԱՆՈւԹՅՈւՆՆԵՐ՝

The selected designer will produce:
- Reports and publications including cover design and a varying number of graphs/charts, and accompanying translations;
- Yearly calendars and notebooks with MSF’s photos;
- MSF mission leaflet and health promotions materials;
- Event posters and invitation letters;
- Ensure outputs are clear, engaging, contemporary and unified according to MSF style and any specific stylistic requirements MSF might have for a particular material.
MSF would have the right to request a revision for correction of deliverables, should it not be considered in line with requirements, with no extra costs to be charged to MSF.

Technical specifications
The person should have an excellent understanding of design programmes and how to ensure files are ready for print.

Practical arrangements
- Documents for design will be exchanged by email;
- Any request for design will be made and agreed by both parties by email under the conditions laid out in a service contract signed with the selected designer;
- The selected designer must be available throughout the entire period of the service agreement.

Requirements:
MSF selects suppliers/ designers to be awarded for a contract based on best value for money. For this tender, the following criteria will be considered:
- Cost
- A minimum of 3 years of experience designing for CSOs, non-profit organisations, international organisations, etc
- A demonstrated understanding of: design programmes and how to ensure files are ready for print
- Evidence of capacity and reliability: based on MSF’s past positive experience with bidder, references from other organisations or evidence of similar contracts in the past.
- Commitment to MSF’s values: a demonstrated commitment to MSF’s principles.
- Quality of design: bidders are requested to provide three examples of previous work.

- Detailed Curriculum Vitae (CV): An up-to-date CV in English, outlining your professional experience and qualifications.
- Organizational Description: A comprehensive description of your organization, if applying as a legal entity, including its structure, mission, and relevant activities.
- Cover Letter: A formal cover letter in English, addressing the specifics of the position and how your background aligns with the requirements.
- Portfolio of Works: A portfolio showcasing three examples of your relevant work.
- References: Contact information for three professional references who can attest to your qualifications and experience.

CV shall clearly state your experience by writing the organisation you have worked, the duration of the employment (which year and how long) and description of the job you performed.

Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is an international, humanitarian, non-governmental organisation providing assistance to people in need as a result of natural and man-made disasters, irrespective of race, religion, ideology or politics. MSF started to work in Armenia in 1988 to respond to medical and humanitarian needs following the Spitak earthquake. Since then, for over 30 years MSF has provided assistance to the population in Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh with different projects, such as therapeutic care to children with physical and/or mental disability, mental health support, programs focused on multidrug-resistant tuberculosis (TB), etc. Currently, MSF team supports free of charge access for Hepatitis C Virus testing and treatment in Yerevan.
