ԱՇԽԱՏԱՆՔԻ ՆԿԱՐԱԳԻՐ՝ 

The purpose of this position is to lead the Grant Acquisition for World Vision Armenia and support the Program Director strategizing the donor engagement and fundraising planning. In addition, this position will support and contribute to overall knowledge management and evidence building for improved programme quality.

ՊԱՐՏԱԿԱՆՈւԹՅՈւՆՆԵՐ՝ 

- Coordinate WV Armenia grants acquisition and donor engagement.

- Responsible for Grant Acquisition:
a) Apply ProposalPro modules when necessary;
b) Develop grant concepts and proposals in cooperation with other stakeholders;
c) Ensure that WV Armenia grant concepts/ proposals meet both quality standards and donor requirements;
d) Ensure that grant concepts and proposals are complementary/ in line to the Technical Programs' designs where possible;
e) Provide support for Private Non-Sponsorship Fund and local fundraising;
f) Provide support to Grant Acquisition processes at South Caucasus level (particularly for Abkhazia programs).

- Responsible for Partnership and Pre-Positioning:
a) Participate in donor engagement as assigned by the Program Director;
b) Ensure World Vision South Caucasus representation in World Vision internal and external events related to Grant Acquisition/ per pre-positioning strategy;
c) Assist programs in locating appropriate partners for grant acquisition and assist with negotiations;
d) Assist in developing of materials for pre-positioning.

- Provide required capacity building to programme staff and partners for effective Grant Acquisition implementation;

- Assist programme/ project managers in establishment of goals and objectives, setting of indicators, development of implementation plans, Monitoring and Evaluation plans, monitoring and reporting as well as evaluation of grant projects.

ԱՆՀՐԱԺԵՇՏ ՈՐԱԿԱՎՈՐՈՒՄՆԵՐ՝ 

The following knowledge, skills, and abilities may have been acquired through a combination of formal schooling, self-education, prior experience, or on-the-job training:
- Bachelor's degree in International Development, Sociology, or other social sciences; MBA or equivalent is preferred;
- Thorough understanding of the historical, cultural, political and socioeconomic situation in South Caucasus countries;
- Strong analytical skills;
- Strong organization and delegation abilities; high performance, quality standards and negotiation skills;
- Sound verbal and written communication skills in the English language;
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work in a team and cultural sensitivity;
- Facilitation and presentation skills;
- Excellent organizational and time management skills;
- Commitment to World Vision Core Values and Mission Statement and Agreement with World Vision's Christian ethos;
- Proven knowledge of and skills for computer software application;
- Experience in proposal writing and donor engagement;
- Knowledge of grant compliance procedures for major bilateral and multilateral donors;
- Experienced networker with an ability to maintain a good up to date knowledge of the grant opportunities and trends in the relevant sector;
- Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 30 % of the time.
