Armenian Red Cross Society is looking for a Head of Social and Healthcare Department.ՊԱՐՏԱԿԱՆՈւԹՅՈւՆՆԵՐ՝
- Coordinate the works carried out by the Department;- Coordinate health and social programs and activities implemented by the Department;
- Coordinate and carry out planning, design, assessment, evaluation and monitoring of programs/ projects;
- Prepare and submit reports, both narrative and financial;
- Implement quality control of programs, reports and proposals;
- Elaborate respective common activity standards and norms for methodological and reporting documentation;
- Analyze health and social activities in the regions, summarize and promote best practices;
- Develop strategy and policy of social and healthcare direction;
- Cooperate and work closely with the Government at national and regional level, international organisations, NGOs acting in the field of social and healthcare, as well as with the partner National Societies, International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies and International Committee of the Red Cross;
- Develop training programs and educational/ informative materials on social and healthcare issues;
- Supervise, support and guide the Department staff and volunteers, as well as support and guide the regional and territorial branches of ARCS;
- Perform other job-related responsibilities assigned by the Secretary General and President.
ԱՆՀՐԱԺԵՇՏ ՈՐԱԿԱՎՈՐՈՒՄՆԵՐ՝
- At least 5 years of experience in healthcare and/ or social sphere, preferably with background in public health;- At least 3 years of experience in a management position; experience in managing/ supervising staff;
- Excellent management skills, including knowledge and understanding of policy and strategic management, organizational development, project management and finance;
- Excellent leadership skills;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; team player;
- IT literacy;
- Fluency in Armenian, English and Russian languages;
- Knowledge and common understanding of legislation and government structures on social and healthcare in RA;
- Ability to travel throughout the country to the regions and make international trips.
