ԱՇԽԱՏԱՆՔԻ ՆԿԱՐԱԳԻՐ՝ 

Tetra Tech ES, Inc. Branch in Armenia is seeking an Information Technology (IT) Specialist to provide comprehensive support for the design and facilitation of cybersecurity software, hardware and technical assistance for select power sector entities including the Electricity System and Market Operators. This aims to help the entities develop their institutional and equipment capacities and enable proper, complex protection of critical energy and other digital infrastructure.
The purpose of USAID’s Energy Secure Armenia Activity (“the Activity”) is to bolster Armenia’s energy security by promoting a shift to renewable energy sources, furthering power market liberalization and trade, promoting greater energy efficiency and planning for emergency situations. The Activity assists the executive and legislative branches of the Government of Armenia, private sector, and other energy stakeholders to diversify the country’s energy supply, reduce dependence on imported gas, lessen greenhouse gas emissions, enhance electricity system cybersecurity, increase cross-border electricity trade, and prepare for emergency situations, enabling the Armenian energy sector to serve as a vehicle of long-term economic growth.
This position involves part-time consultancy with Tetra Tech ES, Inc. Branch in Armenia, but is subject to discussion with candidates. Hiring may be contingent upon USAID approval. ՊԱՐՏԱԿԱՆՈւԹՅՈւՆՆԵՐ՝ 

- Support the development of new network architectures for selected power sector entities that prioritize cybersecurity;
- Support the identification, design and procurement of cybersecurity hardware and software;
- Support the installation, configuration, and integration of the procured software and hardware into existing IT infrastructure;
- Conduct proper quality assurance/quality control checks of the delivered hardware and software and their installation;
- Design and deliver trainings on cybersecurity topics, including but not limited to awareness, threat identification, and incident response for power sector entities’ personnel;
- Provide ad-hoc support to power sector entities related to bolstering cybersecurity; - Contribute to data collection and verification for the Activity’s monitoring, evaluation and learning efforts;
- Contribute to Activity communications products and success stories;
- Contribute to annual Activity work planning;
- Provide relevant inputs on all monthly, quarterly, annual USAID reports, ad-hoc communications or client requests; and
- Perform other IT-related tasks as assigned by management.

ԱՆՀՐԱԺԵՇՏ ՈՐԱԿԱՎՈՐՈՒՄՆԵՐ՝ 

- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, cybersecurity, or related field;
- At least 7 years of professional experience in information technology, particularly with cybersecurity-related software and hardware or equivalent;
- Proven track record of successfully supporting organization in strengthening institutional and equipment capacities relevant to cybersecurity;
- Understanding of operation systems such as Windows and Linux/Unix;
- Understanding of network protocols such as TCP/IP and DNS;
- Familiarity with important security standards and frameworks such as GDPR and ISO 27001;
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills and ability to work independently;
- Ability to present, summarize, and communicate complex content;
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in Armenian and English;
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills;
- Demonstrate flexibility and dedication to assigned duties;
- Excellent time management and organizational skills; and
- High level of professionalism and tactfulness.

Preferred qualifications:
- Master’s degree in information technology, computer science, cybersecurity, or related field;
- Certification(s) demonstrating expertise in cybersecurity;
- Experience in working on USAID- or other donor-funded projects in Armenia; and
- Experience in working in or supporting energy sector institutions.
